Warning on the official EA forum
Ok, so I got this mail today:
I followed the link, because I totally don´t remember bumping a thread lately, let alone repetitively and wanted to ask what thread they are referring to.
Guess what, I followed the link and can´t find the form anywhere.
Soooo....
firstly, do I understand the mail right? AM I accused of bumping a thread?
secondly, can someone here give me a link to that $%&/ dispute form?
and
thirdly, if someone can- HOW ON EARTH DID YOU FIND IT IN THE FIRST PLACE

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
Wow...I was trying to find the form for you--spent about 15 minutes looking and searching with nadda. I searched google, the official forums (for someone to have posted the link), searched Origin (what a joke...half the crap you click on on that site just takes you back to help.ea.com, which is not helpful at all).
I would go to the officals and ask in a thread if someone can give you the direct link to the dispute form. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I did try!

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
I ask someone and they said the link to the form doesn't work, so I don't know how you're suppose to dispute it.
Re: Warning on the official EA forum
You know what, I feel immensely relieved that it´s not just me
Btw, about that live chat... didn´t find that either
But I discovered that I still have a contact mail addy from a direct contact with the EA support from last summer. So I tried that... let´s see. I will keep you updated
You know, I don´t really mind the warning. It just scares me that I would be equally clueless if I had been banned

um Anna was this your first bump? Since Lately they been warning people for no reason for the first bump. I should have made a thread before I left on Friday mentioning that but I forgot to do that.

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
No it was not, but I did not use the word "bump" to bump someone´s thread in ages- so I guess this is it.
I must have bumped somewhere lately, and they are stricter now about that. Weird
Anyways, I STILL would like to know how to get to that form or/ and the live chat, just in case I get banned one day and want to veto against it

Interesting.
They have not changed the rules on bumping, I just checked.... they still read
Ok, now I want to know what I am blamed for, too...

- No Spamming or Flooding. Flooding or spamming means posting disruptive numbers of messages, including posting the same message in multiple forums. This also includes "bumping" threads multiple times. "Bumping" a thread is when someone posts "bump" or anything similar in their thread to keep it on the first page of threads. Doing this once or twice is fine, but multiple times within a short period of time is considered spamming. Use your bumps sparingly.

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
I'm probably gonna have to just let my Emberwood Legacy thread die then. I've been posting updates (not in insanely short amounts of time), but if EA feels that a bump once a week is too much, they'll warn you. It's all dependent on whoever's moderating.
Speaking of which. I reported someone for something, and when I was emailed, it listed my name (or username) as vandalesh.........which I've never heard of in my life. Wut.

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
Naw, I would not worry about that. Happened a year ago, and even if I recall that a lot of people were affected, it seems as if it was nothing but a new mod running wild.
Vandalesh. Sounds interesting, did you check if there is a simmer by that name at all?

Re: Warning on the official EA forum
I just checked, and Vandalash exists (had spelled it wrong earlier). Now I'm just creeped out lol
