You Think We'll be Able to Chat With Each Other?

I heard about the patch adding the chat features
So you think we'll be able to chat with each other while we're playing our games

i am curious about this. i am not getting showtime, so would there be a patch where i get this and sim port? i am still a bit nervous about it :d

Hmmmm...hadn't heard of this. I don't know that I'm going to download the patch anyway (at least not right away since I'm not interested in Showtime). I sort of hope we don't get an "in-game" chat system. I like to play my game to get away from the forum, and FB chats etc, and like to immerse myself into my sim family when I'm playing. I don't want to be distracted with a chat box (tried that once by keeping the internet open and the tab on FB). I'll be happy to see there is a option to turn it off though....

From what I've been reading, it's just a ingame notification system of what's going on on your (and your friends, friends of friends) simpages. It tells you when someone likes, comments uploads etc. on the simpages on the officials.

Well that sounds dissapointing
I thought it was actual chat
