Howdy from Texas
Yo, I'm Elizabeth (I prefer Liz) from Texas. I'm 21 years old and I'm studying to get a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I have many different likes like I LOVE martial arts movies and historical Asian dramas, I love creepy things like the grim reaper and books/shows with ghosts and haunted places, and I love California. I hope some day to live in Huntington Beach because its such a beautiful place. Stereotypes aside NOT all Texans wear cowboy hats or have sourthern accents. I grew up in Houston so I was exposed to alot of ethnic people but I do love my Texas steak, m cowgirl hat, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. As for sports I hate gold and and could care less for baseball but I LOVE hockey and soccer. I watch the FIFA World Cup whenever it comes on and I've watching the Oylmpic Figure Skating (I like figure skating) and I have a love for the Dark Phoenix from the comics and the The Last Stand.
My first intro to the sims was actually SimPark and SimZoo if anyof you can remember those games lol at that time back then I wasn't interested in sims and after an hour of playing SimPark and SimZoo I got bored. But when the Sims 3 launch trailer first aired on the TV that's when I discovered the game. I got excited (like really excited) for World Adventures and Late Night and now I also have Ambitions, Pets, Generations, High Loft Stuff, Fast Lane Stuff, and Outdoor Living Stuff.
I think I might be better at interior decorating than I am at building and/or making movies. I've tried building but I can only do so much xDD and I spend HOURS putting things in and/or deleting it because when it comes to creating things I'm a perfectionist. Also...most of my sims come out looking Asian for some reason O.o (must be because of all the Asians shows and movies I watch xDD half my family is Asian afterall lol)

Well, welcome to Simstopia! And you're so lucky you're good at interior decorating! All my houses look like poo on the inside, even though i have like 20 million clutter objects. Anyways, welcome and enjoy your stay!

Re: Howdy from Texas
Welcome to Simstopia! It's nice to see another Texan around, to join Elijah and myself. I'm a transplant from the North, but I've lived in Texas for a pretty good portion of my life. To reinforce the fake stereotype, we should probably start yelling howdy and pantomiming lasso throwing. Eh, nevermind.
Anyone who can properly decorate or build a sim's house has a lot more talent than me. I'm a sim maker and gamer, through and through.
Once again, welcome!

Re: Howdy from Texas
Thanks everyone. LOL sorry I don't have a southern accent (its very VERY slight although I suppose if I were to vacation in a northern state they'll definately tell I'm from Texas because of the way I say certain words lol) because I was born and raised in Houston and half my family is Filipino and come from the nothern and southern parts of the Philippines. My dad's side is a whole mix of things Mexican, Spanish, German. Polish, Canadian lol
I myself have never been to the Philippines but I'd love to visit my relatives there some day. I did however get to vacation in Mexico. Its a beautiful and vibrant country ^^
But like any typical Texan I love the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and I LOVE my Texas steak xDD

Welcome! I've always wanted to go to Texas, or anywhere out west really. I'm from PA Sometimes I wish we could just teleport places. Make life easier, I suppose.
