Twallan's NoCD Mod?

Hi guys, i have a bit of a problem and i am looking for some advice, today i have found out that my Pets disk can not be read, i don't understand why, i have been backing up my Data files all day ( D drive is getting full) and the DVD-R's are working fine. The Pets disk isn't scratched or anything, it's clean and shiny, so i can't understand why it wont be read...(it was working fine on Sunday) Also i have been told that Twallan has a no CD mod, i have no idea how to use it, if anyone here has it can you teach me how to use it? Cause i am a bit slow when it comes to mods, and also does any one have any idea why my disk can not be read?

I have used Twallan's NoCD mod before and I can tell you that it's pretty user friendly. If you already have your Mods>Packages file structure set up, then you'll be totally fine. Just put the newest version of the Mod into your packages folder and you'll be able to skip the Disk Authorization.

As for reasons that your disk isn't working, I would say that it could be any number of things. Heat might've warped it. There could be non-visible scratches on the surface. It's all just kind of tough to deal with. I recommend the NoCD mod.

Ah, i never thought about the heat, and non visible scratches, *tut* that's a bit of a kick in the teeth then. I'll go put it in my folder and give it a quick test then. Let's hope it works!
