Sometimes I hate this game

So I lost the serial code to my Town Life Stuff and my Generations games. I have like a physical hard copy of the game so there was no way I could just go on Origin and get the code, especially because I forgot to register it. I went to the live help chat, or whatever it's called, and asked if they could do anything and the guy was so rude he just linked me to a warranty page for the game, which said nothing about serial codes by the way, and told me the only thing I could do was buy a new code. I told him I'd torrent it before I did that. I feel like I'm being punished for wanting a hard copy of the game, which is what I prefer because when I tried to re-install my games through origin they didn't work. I wish they did the serial codes differently, I remember for TS1 they were attached to the CD case, but these are on like little manuals that always fall out, or get lost I just don't think it's right when I have almost ever SP and EP that I should have to pay AGAIN.

You should try checking your registry on your computer for the code

And EA should still give you the code
Try telling them to check your account off of thesims3.com, so they can get the codes off there

I just googled serial codes for those games and found them online, I didn't know you could find it on the registry though.

CS is so stupid. NOW they decide to crack down on giving out serial codes? Really?! "Oh, but let's give out hundreds, if not thousands, of serial codes to that moron we all knew as sesert".

I'd try back. Maybe you'll get a more helpful representative. I've heard calling is better than the online chat thing.
