Woohoo! Prom second time around is much better!
If you remember, I recently made a post about how I forgot that the edit in CAS cheat restarts that sim at the beginning at their age, thus restarting my teen sim back at the first day she was a teen. The first time around, she went to prom and didn't get prom queen. She also went with a friend. This time around, she got prom queen! And I got a pop-up stating that the band played her favorite song and her crush/prom date asked her to go steady! woo-hoo!!!
Even though I kept referring to him as her boyfriend, they weren't going steady (he was just her romantic interest). Now I can officially say that he is her boyfriend, and when they grow up, he will be her husband.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out why it kept resetting back to the beginning (I thought it was a glitch but didn't know what was causing it), so I went looking on the officials for an answer and found out it was the Edit in CAS cheat that resets the sim back to the beginning of whatever stage in their life they're at.
I guess it's useful if you want to pretend it's like a "fountain of youth" type of thing.

For the first time today I sent a sim to the Prom single. She'd never really had any romantic interests and all her close friends were girls. So I just thought she'd go alone. (But then I got the creepy glitch where she got invited to Prom by her Young Adult BROTHER!! I knew enough to say no to that! So weird.)
She won Prom Queen, which I thought was pretty cool since she went alone. But then I got the pop-up twice that she asked someone to dance and they said no. Who rejects the Prom Queen?! And then she was caught looking at someone else's date, so she got in a fight on the dance floor.
I almost think it was more fun to send her alone.
And her picture is funny, I'll see if I can find it.

Her brother? LOL Good choice in choosing no.
And hey, call me crazy but doesn't that look like the Space Needle in the background of that pic?

I thought it looked like the Space Needle too! I think they were just trying to make it look metropolitan so they threw in a funky city skyline. But it's cool. I wish the pictures were easier to see up-close. And better quality. I think they always turn out funny. Oh well.
And yeah, if your sim ever gets invited to Prom by a family member, always say no. I've seen lots of posts on the Official forums about sims ending up in romantic relationships with family members including parents, siblings, and cousins. That needs to be fixed!

Makes me kind of glad her 'just turned into a teen' brother is away at prep school.

I heard that one of those "family" relationship problems was a grandpa.

^ that just totally reminded me of "Futurama" where Fry finds out he's his own grandpa.

It's one of the few I remember. I don't like the new ones they have now as much...

Ahh, prom. My sim got asked by one of her 2 best friends (they are all girls XD), and she got prom queen.
I was planning on her being with her other friend (such nice genes!), but who says she can't? She can just have a bit of both genes in her many children!
