Brun it worked!!! So far anyways, I was so mad at my game I haven't even opened it for days but I missed it so I thought I'd give it a try and it worked!!!! I'm soooo happy!!! Thank you so much, you are my simming hero!

Hey Tina, and anyone else who did the "Advanced Rendering" trick I showed you....
If you updated the patch that just came out yesterday (Dec. 14, 2011)...check your game/file(s). I noticed after I updated with that patch it knocked the 0 back to a 1 in the base game file. My grass looked like it was painted green paint and had no texture.
Just an FYI.

i know im bumping, but bru is a genius so i want her to see this. I'm fianlly trying this, and when I try to put Sims3LauncherW.exe in the DEP list, it says that i cant run that file with DEP on. Is it supposed to be like that, or?

Yes. If it says that, it's fine. Mine says that as well. Just put the ones in that allow you to put in.
That is the actual launcher itself, so (for whatever reason) you can't (or don't need to) DEP that.
