Question about which mod version to choose?

So I think I finally figured out to install mods, etc. But when I go to choose my first mod it has all these different types (versions), which one do I choose? For example it says, Base-mod, tattoos, cheats...? (I'm downloading Master Controller and Story progression.)

It just depends on what extra features you want. If you're just starting out with mods, go for the Base version before getting any others.
