a question about legacies
What if one generation only gets boys? I'm doing a female line legacy.

Well, I guess you could wait until one of the kids is old enough to move out, then try again, maybe?

since the founder is female so that means any heirs have to be too. Its some kind of rule. and yet no one has ever asked this question before?

Your heirs don't have to be the same gender as your founder. If all heirs are female, it's called a Matriarchy, and if all heirs are male it's called a Patriarchy. Or you can just do mixed gender heirs

Re: a question about legacies
If you are playing Matriarchy or Patriarchy Legacy then you have to have either a female heir to carry on for the Matriarchy or a male heir for the Patriarchy.
If you aren't playing that type of legacy then either one can be an heir.
